Once your level 70 your good to go as far as making some serious gold in World of Warcraft. From daily quests to elemental plateaus to mastering the Auction House. You have everything at your fingertips at level 70. That’s why you need to think like a noob again.

I know, that seems contradictory, but if you think back to those low level Instances when you needed a virtual army to complete then you’ll get the gist of what I mean. By the time your level 70 you can get better gear that will help you complete Instances by yourself, no more army needed. Yes, i know that sounds obvious, but a lot of WoW gamers never look back, that’s a good thing for you.

To know what Instances would make you WoW gold you need to consider a few variables – What’s your Class and what’s you skill level. You need to match the best Instances to this information to maximize efficiency and therefore profit. You can find this information with a quick search engine query. This is because to farm Instances you’ll need to handle several mobs that are elite during the Instance. You need to consider such things as the mob level and your Area of Effect specification. If you find an Instance you feel you can handle, then you can tweak your Area of Effect to get the results you need. This kind of forethought will mean that you will be able to kill more mobs at a faster rate, which means more loot and possibly more valuable drops. Obviously you’ll need to take some stuff like food, water, and potions so that you can really spend some quality time getting everything out of the Instance. Remember that the more consecutive times you keep doing the Instance, the more the chances are that you’ll get that rare drop. You’ll really want those rare drops. I’ll explain that a little further along.

World of Warcraft Instances are not there for the taking to be had whenever you want, let me explain. You need to be aware of a couple of things. You are only allowed five Instances per hour. That means if you kill the boss to get its loot that you only get five tries. That goes for all your characters so no cheating with multiple characters. Always make sure you start your Instance with as little in your bags as possible if you intend on just killing the mobs over and over. The loot builds up and before you know it your out of slots.

Now, depending on what our find, how can you possibly profit from this tactic? Remember I mentioned those rare drops, well, I got one word for you: Twinks! Because your level is so much higher it means that you can do those Retro-Instances far faster and in far greater numbers than the Twinks can. This means a lot more rare drops for you, such as rare but lethal blades that are in high demand by Twinks. Cool huh!

Now for those pesky scraps! Don’t discard those scraps just because you think they might not bring in some gold. Quite the contrary. For instance, just because your getting Knothide leather scraps instead of leather doesn’t mean you can’t make a tidy profit. How? Find a Leatherworker that has the skill to turn those scraps in full blown Knothide leather pieces. You can trade or buy or give some valuable information for the work. You should also keep your eyes open for those special leather drops, such as Clefthoof Leather.

World of Warcraft players, for the most part, either don’t make enough gold, or have it but can’t keep it. - Loot absolutely everything that the mobs drop. As soon as you possibly can, upgrade your bag space. Loot EVERYTHING, no matter if It’s gray or not. Sure, those gray items may not be worth all that much, but they can add up after awhile.

- Don’t waste money. Only buy what you absolutely need at the auction house, such as bigger bags and potions. You don’t need gear or weapons after every single level. Don’t even worry about getting epic purple gear until you’re at least level 55. Even then, it’s not necessary to buy something new every time you level up.

- While you’re at it, don’t spend World of Warcraft gold on enchantments every time you buy something new. Save your enchantments and gems on expensive gear and weapons that you plan on keeping for awhile.

- Higher level professions such as enchanting are best for death knights in WoW. It’s a pretty hard profession to level, so you need to have gear worth enchanting if you’re going to spend some gold on it. Also, disenchant items whenever you can and sell the dusts, essences, and shards at the auction house.

- In order to earn money as a low level, you need to take up 2 gathering professions as soon as you can. Gathering professions include: herbalism, mining, and skinning. Store some of the items you gather and sell all the rest. Once you’re at a higher level, you can drop one of your gathering professions and trade it in for a crafting profession.

- Sell all the green items that you come across, unless you really need some yourself. If you think your World of Warcraft character can benefit from a green item, then equip it. All the rest you come across needs to be sold at the auction house.

- If you take up herbalism, sell all the common herbs in large stacks and rare herbs in small stacks of no more than five. This is because no other player is going to pay a lot of gold for an expensive stack of 20 rare herbs when they only need two or three at a time. Examples of rare herbs that you can sell in stacks of 2-5 are: Lichbloom, frost lotus, tiger lily, and fire bloom.

- If you come across anybody trying to undercut other sellers at the auction house in World of Warcraft, buy the item yourself and then resell it for the average price! In fact, doing this often will have beneficial results. Buy all the cheap items you can find and then resell them for the average price!
